       "Knowledge + action=success"

Eat Healthy to B-Healthy,inc is a home visiting service bringing the education to you. The mission is to provide education and resources to assist you in understanding why leading a healthier lifestyle is beneficial to your medical condition. Whether it is diabetes, cardiac disease, or weight loss needs, the goal is to have a healthier YOU!

You will have an expert in diabetes and obesity wellness complete a pantry walk-thru in your kitchen, utilizing your groceries as teaching tools. Together, we can help identify ways to better portion control your meals and increase your knowledge with label reading.

Carbohydrate counting is essential to blood sugar control. Together we will develop an individualized carbohydrate counting meal plan, identify ways to decrease the fat and salt in the foods you consume to promote cardiac wellness and learn behavioral techniques to limit emotional eating.

Studies show that if a person loses 10% of their body weight and maintains the loss, they can often save the beta cell function of the pancreas (beta cells manufacture insulin) and reduce your need for diabetes medication. If you do not manage your diabetes early, complications may occur, and the need for medication including injectable insulin may be required to manage your diabetes. So don't wait! 1 out of 5 people have diabetes. Take the right steps to get healthier.

What some are saying:

"Carbohydrate counting was easier than i thought,  My A1C decreased from 9% to 7.1% in just 3 months."

-Scott

learning that adherence to my medication, in addition to eating smarter, exercising and monitoring my blood sugars were all impacting my diabetes control. I wish I would have made changes earlier when I was first diagnosed. After a while, pills didn't keep my A1C at 7% so I started insulin.

-Albert and Ruby July 2016

""I never understood why i needed to count my carbohydrates, what my insulin was doing , and why it was so important that I check my blood sugars at different times of the day to see how my food and medication worked together. Cant thank her enough."

There are so many new medications and technology to help me manage my blood sugars. Alicia gave me great resources

I'

We are a growing construction company with over 30

employees. Our safety committee requested that

we learn Adult CPR.  Alicia and her team came to our

office and 15 of our superintendents are now all

certified in Adult CPR/AED  (Heartsaver Program)

The price was within our budget, and the crew voiced that they were proud to be part of a company that felt this was an important skill to have. "I feel more confident that I could help save a life if one of my coworkers or someone in the community had a heart attack or stopped breathing."

Great job!!
